Arangetram Training — Kronsteg (Gold Step)

The final ascent to the spotlight.
In shimmering gold Kronsteg—your dancer’s 10ᵗʰ–12ᵗʰ term —technique meets artistry in full solo mastery. Students build endurance with solo stamina sets, refine live performing skills with mridangam and nattuvangam accompaniment, and polish signature repertoire including Varnam and the vibrant Thillana. The journey culminates in awarding the coveted Guld-medalj on the night of the official stage debut—your child’s very own Arangetram.

What Your Dancer Perfects

• Stamina & poise: continuous 90-minute solo run-throughs

• Live-orchestra coordination: responding to nattuvanar, mridangist, and violinist cues

• Advanced repertoire: full Varnam storytelling and high-tempo Thillana finale

• Professional presence: curtain calls, programme notes, and audience engagement

Practical Details

• Duration: 16-week term · one 60-minute class per week + additional rehearsals

• Typical tenure: 2–3 terms until solo is stage-ready

• Group size: Micro-cohort of max 6 dancers to allow personal coaching

• Language of instruction: English only

Terms & Conditions

1. Booking: Seat confirmed upon 300 SEK Swish deposit (deducted from term fee).

2. Attendance: 85 % attendance required to receive the Guld-medalj and perform the Arangetram.

3. Term payout plan" - Kr 7996. “Pay-in-Two” plan (50 % now - Kr 3998, 50 % after week 4 - Kr 3998), "Monthly payout plan" - Kr 1999 on request for newcomers. Displayed is the Monthly payout plan.

4. Arangetram date: Set in consultation with guru and family; fees for musicians, hall rental and costumes are separate.

5. Parent access: Rehearsals are closed; families attend the final stage run-through and the Arangetram performance.

Refund & Make-Up Policy

• Full refund (including deposit) if cancellation is made 7 days or more before term start.

• 50 % refund if cancellation occurs within the first two teaching weeks.

• No refund thereafter, except with a doctor’s certificate for medical leave.

• If the teacher cancels a class, a make-up session will be scheduled.

• No make-ups or refunds for student absences.
